The sea gives up its treasures slowly. A pearl of this size is the work of decades, formed in the dark, lifted once, and never again. Dariya is built around that patience, the gold worked to hold the pearl the way a wave holds light, the emeralds carved to suggest the curl of water at the moment before it breaks.
